Receipt Tracker Free

Manual receipt tracking, images, exports, and per-report backup for up to 25 saved receipts.

Receipt Tracker Free stores receipts inside reports and supports manual entry, receipt images, PDF and CSV output, per-report ZIP backup, and optional vehicle records.

Five-minute setup

  1. Open Settings and choose the language, theme, default currency, and export image quality.
  2. Create a report with a clear name and currency.
  3. Open the report and add a receipt.
  4. Attach or photograph the receipt.
  5. Verify the saved amount, taxes, date, category, currency, and image.
  6. Create a Backup ZIP after entering important data.

2. Reports

Every receipt belongs to one report. A report can represent a tax year, business, client, vehicle, trip, household, reimbursement period, or project.

Create a report

  1. Select Create Report or the add control.
  2. Enter a report name.
  3. Optionally add a business name, description, tax year, date range, and logo.
  4. Choose the report currency.
  5. Save the report.

Add or edit a receipt

  1. Open the destination report and select Add Receipt.
  2. Enter the merchant, price, and currency.
  3. Add one or more tax amount lines when needed.
  4. Set the date and category. If Other is selected, enter the custom category.
  5. Optionally mark the receipt reimbursable and add comments.
  6. If vehicle fields are enabled, enter vehicle name, service type, and mileage.
  7. Attach an image and verify every field before saving.

Export or share

  1. Open the report or its report-card actions.
  2. Choose the desired PDF, CSV, or Backup ZIP action.
  3. Keep the app open while generation is in progress.
  4. Choose a destination from Android's save or share interface.

Restore from ZIP

  1. Open Settings and choose Restore From ZIP.
  2. Select a Backup ZIP created by Receipt Tracker.
  3. Wait for validation and import to finish.
  4. Review the imported report, receipt fields, and images.

6. Recovery and deletion

Free does not include Recently Deleted. Deleting a receipt removes it from local storage, and deleting a report removes its receipts. Recovery requires a suitable Backup ZIP exported before deletion.

Free allows up to 25 saved receipts across all reports. A ZIP restore must fit within the remaining capacity.

Receipt records remain local unless the user exports, shares, restores, or voluntarily sends information to support. Free does not serve advertising.

9. Troubleshooting

Cannot save a receipt
Check required fields and verify that monetary values use valid decimals.
Image is missing
Edit the receipt and attach, import, or recapture the image.
Output lacks a column
Review Report Columns in Settings.
Need a safety copy
Export a Backup ZIP for the report.
Cannot add another receipt
Check the 25-receipt capacity across all reports.

Supported languages, currencies, and categories can change. Review the current choices shown inside the app rather than relying on a fixed website count.
