Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy explains how KTedServices, LLC (“KTedServices,” “we” or “us”) handles information when you visit ktedservices.com or use a KTedServices app. Product-specific sections describe differences between Receipt Tracker and KTed Radio.

We do not sell personal information. We ask for only the information needed to operate the relevant product, provide support or process a choice you make.

Website and cookies

This website is a static product and support site. It does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, tracking pixels or an account-based behavioral profile. The site may use essential browser behavior needed for navigation, such as the mobile menu, and your browser may retain ordinary cache data. Links to third-party sites are governed by those sites’ policies.

Receipt Tracker Apps

Receipt Tracker: Expenses, Receipt Tracker Lite: Expenses and Receipt Tracker Pro: Expenses are designed around receipt and purchase information that you choose to enter or capture. The applicable edition page and manual describe its features and permissions. Receipt Tracker Pro can use Google ML Kit document-scanning capabilities on-device where supported; images and text are not sent to KTedServices for that recognition flow. Google ML Kit may contact Google for model updates, compatibility information and API performance metrics under Google’s applicable terms.

Receipt Tracker Pro’s optional Google Drive backup uses the private appDataFolder space when you authorize Google access. Backups are associated with your Google account and remain in Google Drive under your control. KTedServices does not use Drive backup files for advertising or profiling. Recently Deleted records are handled according to the product’s documented retention controls.

Receipt Tracker support messages contain the information you choose to send. Do not include passwords, verification codes, payment details or unnecessary sensitive information.

KTed Radio

KTed Radio uses the selected region from your Android device’s locale settings to show regional stations and recommendations. It does not use GPS or request location permission for this purpose. To change the country used by KTed Radio, change the region in your phone or tablet’s system settings.

Station discovery and station information are provided through the KTedServices radio directory. Audio is streamed from the individual station or its streaming provider. Opening a station website takes you to that broadcaster-controlled site. Station programming, stream availability, geographic restrictions, websites and other broadcaster-controlled content are provided by the respective stations or service providers.

The current pre-release build has no AdMob integration or advertising SDK and does not include a general analytics SDK. Ordinary service operation may still create limited platform, hosting, network or provider logs for security, reliability and rate limiting. KTedServices does not use those operational controls as a personal advertising profile.

KTed Radio’s planned Plus upgrade uses Google Play Billing when purchase functionality is connected. Purchase and entitlement processing will be handled through Google Play. The current pre-release build does not have Play Billing connected.

Optional Plus Drive Backup is designed to use Google Drive’s private appDataFolder space. It is intended for Favorites, added or custom stations and theme personalization. Recently Played is excluded. Access requires your authorization, and KTedServices does not store the backup contents on its own servers. Google’s policies apply to Google account and Drive activity.

Third-party services

Google Play, Google Drive, Google ML Kit, Android platform services, station websites, station streaming providers, Cast and Android Auto may process information under their own terms and policies. KTedServices does not control third-party station content, stream uptime, geographic availability or privacy practices.

Retention, security and children

We retain support correspondence and operational records only as long as reasonably needed to respond, secure services, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. Product data stored locally on your device is controlled through the app and device. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as products and services change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
